Radar is:
a place for clients to commission excellent and outstanding music videos and get help having them promoted to a massive audience.
a place for filmmakers who want to find music video work to find music video work.
a network to empower and enable filmmakers worldwide.
a place for filmmakers to network and support each other.

To that end, we ask all members to bear in mind these guidelines:

Points and Member's featured videos

Every time you comment on a video, you get 10 points. Members who generate most points in a week are invited to choose a video to be featured on the front page. Quite often this is their own video, which is completely alright and even encouraged. It's a thank you and an incentive to share opinions.

Video Upload and Thumbnail Problems

If you're having problems either getting your video to link or getting your thumbnail to display, try using the link, rather than the embed code. Doing this has solved most upload problems on the site so far...however you might also find this info useful:

If you're linking from Google Video, we've found you need to link from google.com. Linking from google.co.uk is often problematic.

Clients
We generally get two kinds of client, labels or management and artists direct. Labels/management are very often using their own contacts to generate briefs and use Radar to increase their chance of getting a pitch they like. It’s possible the client won’t pick a pitch from a Radar member. Artists direct/very small labels often have limited access to other professional contacts, so it’s more likely they’ll commission a pitch from Radar. Clients are not required to have an exclusive relationship with Radar at pitching stage.

you're welcome to send mood boards with your pitch, please do, but remember you can crash your recipients' system if you send large file attachments. Like my email system.

It's an idiosyncracy of the system we use that it won't let you delete a picture and upload a new one in the same go. You have to upload, then delete.

how do I upload my member picture?

Go to 'My Account' and choose 'Edit Profile', then select the middle tab, called ‘Account Settings’. This is the picture that gets used to represent you on the site – your avatar.
