This is a music video for Swinky's original composition~ It Shall Pass.

We shot the video in about 6 hours with no money. So, please don't expect anything amazingly over the top amazing. Also, we recorded the song with no money.

Regardless, I think it's possible to enjoy this video. It was shot in Tokyo, starting in Roppongi and walking to Azabu-Juban. It's a nice stretch because you get all the party-nuts from Roppongi but you also get to see a lot of those rich folks from over in the Azabu neighborhood.

Hands on: Graphic design, Compositing and Animation.

I worked at the compositing of the city landscape, of the club interior and of the final set. Then I animated the lights and the camera shot by shot. It's all been made with 2D pictures composed with After Effects.

We had great fun animating this one. We originally shot a bunch of footage on top on the hill and it started to snow and the camera got clagged up, which is fine because it wasnt ours.

Film fans may well notice several homages to some classic films in there. My favourite were the harks to close encounters and the original War of the worlds.
