'I guess I mention it because the for the first 30 seconds of your reel, I wasn't focusing on the video, I was thinking about how the music was being mixed." That's a good observation, I will check that out with several people, see if they have the same reaction.
"Don't worry. I'm not proposing scrap and scrap for the reel. Just, if I could change any one thing about it, that would be the one thing. It's certainly not a deal breaker."
Not a problem, any pertinent comments are most welcome. I'll drop by your profile soon, see if I can provide some feedback to your movies as well.

Thanks for the song info. I dig Poe, but I couldn't place the song.

We could of course do that for a future version of our reel, but until now we like that intended overlay because it's somewhat of a twist from the very beginning and it allows us to buildup to a more forceful beginning.
It's odd that, until now, nobody has mentioned having a problem with that overlay you're mentioning. Could you please elaborate?
Hi, thanks for your comment xippyxippo. About the sound, we didn't actually modify anything about it, although you did notice well that there is something "different" about it. Anyway the song is by POE (http://www.repoezessed.com/), and it's called "Fingertips" and it's exactly just as the one on her album, nothing changed.
The reel is great. Really top notch work. But, the sound mixing at the beginning was off. That slow-down different key/tempo overlay is really disarming.

Would you consider picking up in the middle of the song or something?

Regardless, sweet reel. Thanks for posting it.
