You've got crabs!
But in a less juvenile vain - very good :) Muchly enjoyable.

That was ridiculously awesome. Giant crab invasion ruled!
Extremely comical and has a nice B-movie feel. I guess with a title like Dogboy vs Monsters, that's exactly what I should have been expecting. I especially like how the Dogboy decides that he'd rather play with other dog, instead of the beautiful woman, right after he saves her from the giant crabs. There's probably a metaphor in there somewhere but it eludes me.

We shot black & white film, academy ratio - as a 50s B-movie would have.
There are a few touches that are more modern - I don't leave as much headroom as they tended to back in the 40s/50s, for example, and if it were a proper old B-movie it would have been filmed on a recycled set left over from something else, with more dramatic/artificial lighting. We shot on location. (We only had £1,500 to make the video so I couldn't duplicate the old styles 100%.) But yeah, we set out to make a B-movie, story cliches, cinematic tropes and all.
I just watched REVENGE OF THE SITH the other day and was having a good laugh about how George Lucas loves him his wipes. There was a point in the film I thought he was trying to use every different wipe transition Final Cut had, in reverse alphabetical order...

Did you shoot b&w or make that decision after shooting? I really like the way you use your camera moves with your transitions, it feels very much like Star Wars, or a 1950's B movie. Great styling too.

Nah, just a cheap attempt to get a video about bestiality on MTV.

A thinly veiled commentary on STD's, very well done.

great video. love the b-movie feel.
nicely assembled, great use of effects to add to the style rather than to create the style which is often the case.
love it
