Hiatus 'Nobody', directed and edited by
Paul Stevenson - visual-hybrid
Video pays homage to some degree to Jim Jarmusch's surreal western 'Dead Man' which is the inspiration of the music track.
Music video for Hiatus 'Nobody EP' title track.
EP available now via iTunes.

Interesting piece. Definitely strong ideas. I agree that the color filter seems like an odd choice, but then, thats kind of what makes it work too. I am in love with the barefeet on the treadmill. Personally, its the guy working the decks that slows it down.

I only look at Radar, SRO and Antville... I'd totally not know what was going on in videos unless I read Antville. And I watched your vid on antville because I recognised your name from here!
Paul, it's a cool video done to a very high standard despite obviously being done on very restricted budget/time schedule. For me, you just raised the bar so high with the opening 30 seconds I just got greedy and wanted more. But as you say, if the band is over the moon about it, you win.

hello Matei,
many people have raved about the grading / colours in the piece. if you don't like it, that's fine.. it wasn't ever intended to appeal to everyone.
aside from being impossible, personally I'd rather connect my ideas and creativity with a niche who totally 'feel it' than make something more obvious that fleetingly passes by the masses.
The musician (client if you like) is immensly pleased with the look/ feel/ pace of the video so as far as that's concerned it's 'job done'

i find it extremely annoying
and i was really enjoying the 'indian runner'

re uploaded due to slight tech ammendment.
antville posting had html coc k up which meant page wouldnt load and had to be re posted/ deleted.. (Alex you got eyes everywhere eh..!)
the ratings system is relative.. (which should possibly be ammended to take into account the total views also)
cheers for the feedback although feel a bit unfair to bandwagon slate something...
for the record, the crew (myself alone) had 8 hours to film the entire video, including light, rig, art dept setup, direct and camera.. (myself alone)

maybe dealing with the occult as this video obviously does requires that some things be done twice. right hand path and left-hand path
'My name is Legion, for we are many'
He posted it here because I commented on it once already here... I know he posted it 2x on antville too.
I was just surprised to see it on the front page as "highest rated" with only 9 views and 5 stars as when I commented a few days ago there had been about 30 views and it was hanging out around 3 stars.

I liked the overall look of the videos, however, I didn't like the pacing, and the pull to obviousness
maybe he posted it on antville
anyways, too brown (for lack of a better word) for my taste

Didn't you post this already? Or is this a different version?
